Thanks for the query David. Greenblatt, in his book does not, from memory, provide advice as to how to handle the situation where a stock that has been held for a year should be retained as one of the ongoing stocks in the portfolio if it still is present as one of the high ranking stocks.
My intention is to retain any that are still at or near the top of the ranking list for another year and then sell it/ them if it is still there after two years. The assumption being that if the market has not recognized it/ them as 'good value' after two years then most likely it never will.
